What does it mean to be a Project Engineer at ZeroNorth?

We are looking to hire a Project Engineer to join the Configuration team. This role supports the configuration team with their Marine Engineering Knowledge and Sailing experience and will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights and by recognizing trends and anomalies in large multi-varied datasets. Also, helps in preparing Master Data Sheet, performing Data Integrity checks and other Configuration & Documentation activities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with Marine Background possessing strong quantitative and analytical skills to explore the state of art application that helps in digitalizing Maritime Industry.

Experience :

• Minimum 1+ Year of technical/ shore experience in the Maritime industry.
• Minimum 1+ Years of sailing experience as a Marine engineer.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine
• Graduate Marine Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource for the team in Service Operations on all configuration and analytical needs.
• Perform data extracts, transformations, interpretation and analysis using various tools.
• Prepare materials (spreadsheets, charts, presentations, etc.) that summarize data and draw conclusions to support business/technical discussions.
• Collaborate with various business, operations, and technology stakeholders.
• Contributes in Data integrity checks and various application implementation & its modules.
• Helps in preparing Reports, various Data analysis documents and commissioning certificates.
• Carry out assessment and technical study of available data points for possible interfacing options and feasibility study based on the project scope.
• Carry out data analysis of Maker documents to prepare MDS and Data quality checks.

Skills

• Maritime domain experience, industrial maintenance and/or PMS background.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required).
• Analytical thinking and ability to work with large data sets.
• Intermediate proficiency in Linux (preferred).
• Data visualization skills.
• Critical thinking and time management skills.
• Self-initiative, attention to detail and ownership of tasks.
