What You’ll Do

As an Implementation Manager, you’ll be our ISV Partners’ first professional services point of contact - their trusted advisor and consultant on their integrated payments journey.  You’ll lead implementations for an ever-evolving portfolio of software Partners across a wide array of verticals and solution sets.  Instrumental to your success will be your ability to work closely with our Partners’ Sales, Marketing, Operations, Support, and Technical teams.  They’ll rely on your expertise and guidance in building and implementing best practices, training and education, and the overall strategic direction of their go-to-market effort.

Stax partners with a diverse assortment of software companies across many different industries, to enable payment acceptance within their platforms.  In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with other Stax departments to assist our ISV Partners in navigating the complexities of integrating payments into their platforms.  As a cohesive implementation team, you’ll creatively solve difficult challenges that drive revenue and build institutional value for Stax and our Partners.

Throughout your journey, you’ll have endless opportunities to level up your own knowledge, both within the payments ecosystem and across industries like healthcare, field services, legal, accounting, ecommerce, and much more.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Lead new Partner implementations by ensuring proper internal and external alignment between interdependent systems, and via thorough documentation and communication
  • Develop, manage, and lead practical and precise project implementation plans across multiple business units and companies
  • Balance the needs of an evolving portfolio of implementing Partners throughout their journey from kick-off to long-term care
  • Collaborate extensively with internal teams, creating the foundations for an exemplary Partner experience
  • Work closely with your Implementation Associate(s) on project planning and execution on internal tasks and partner deliverables
  • Develop thoughtful, comprehensive go-to-market strategic plans that align with business objectives and financial models
  • Develop deliberate sales and support strategies that integrate seamlessly with the Partner’s existing infrastructure and capabilities
  • Instill confidence in our Partners that the training and education you’ve provided has equipped them well to sell and support their integrated payments solution
  • Clearly and consistently communicate with Partners to gather clarifying details and context around complex decisions and strategies, and to drive action until the project is completed
  • Provide ongoing feedback to help identify trends for potential process and experience enhancements
  • Develop and execute quarterly initiatives which you’ll own, end-to-end, delivering value directly to your team, the organization, or to our Partners (your choice!)
  • Be diligent in spotting revenue-generating opportunities, developing and executing against those opportunities with tenacity and confidence
Requirements
  • Highly empathetic - a champion of both Stax and the Partner
  • Strong work ethic, with a team-first mentality
  • Must be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and peers
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple, at times conflicting, priorities
  • Unshaking attention to detail
  • Excellent email etiquette
  • Strong desire to grow, learn, and contribute to an ever-evolving organization
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to think strategically and creatively in decision-making
  • Coachable and able to take direction and feedback well
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience/desire to contribute to the broader goals of the organization beyond your immediate job description
  • Self-directed and motivated; excellent communication skills to work within team and client relations
  • Ability to pivot quickly adapt to quickly evolving circumstances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certification or CAPM certified
  • Experience working with project management applications (Monday.com, GUIDEcx, Asana, etc.)
  • Effective use of the Google Workspace suite of solutions
  • Experience utilizing company communication platforms like Zoom or Teams
