ABOUT YOU:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and contributing to the ongoing production of digital marketing assets to support our agency and our clients within the funeral industry.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing posting and engagement on for our agency and client social media accounts
  • Participate in client calls by phone and in person to discuss goals and plan content accordingly, as well as report on successes and areas for improvement in strategy
  • Design digital content, including blogs, social media, search, website/landing pages; experience with creating or sourcing images preferred
  • Manage flow of digital marketing projects, including ensuring work is completed by appropriate team members, confirming approvals, delivering to client, billing for work completed, and other project management tasks  
  • Provide support to Head of Digital Marketing and work on Digital Marketing Team

   

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or other equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Digital or Social Media Marketing preferred; Open to those fresh out of school or internship
  • Working Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Basic web applications, WordPress, HTML and CSS a plus
  • Project management experience a plus

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Self-starter that is comfortable carrying forward many active projects at once
  • Passionate about engaging through digital media, particularly social media
  • Positive, "can do" attitude is a must -- this position requires researching solutions and innovating with digital strategy to reach consumers
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofing
  • Digital writing and content experience preferred
  • Embraces project management organization, such as online task lists and communication
  • Team-oriented and good communication skills
