PSG is looking for an experienced communications professional to join its growing Marketing & Communications
team as an Associate. The Marketing & Communications team works closely with the firm’s leadership, investment
professionals, and investor relations team and is responsible for PSG’s brand strategy and internal/external
communications with key stakeholders. Additionally, as part of PSG’s Portfolio Operations team, the Marketing &
Communications team adds value to PSG’s investments by advising on marketing and communications matters
within the firm’s active portfolio.
The Associate, Marketing Communications will support the execution of external and internal communications
activities globally, working closely with PSG’s external PR partners and reporting to the Senior Vice President,
Marketing. The ideal candidate to join our team is a self-starter who thrives in a fast, paced, entrepreneurial
environment.
Responsibilities
• Support the execution of PSG’s global marketing & communications strategy to reach key
stakeholders, including activities across traditional media, social media and conferences
• Draft internal and external communications, including press releases for firm announcements and
newsletters
• Support media relations activities and manage reporter inquiries in partnership with PSG’s external
PR partners
• Research relevant conferences and media contacts
• Pursue relevant awards on behalf of the firm/key executives
• Work alongside the firm’s external PR agencies to strategically increase brand visibility among target
audiences to support PSG’s business objectives
Ideal Experience and Competencies
• 2-3 years of experience working at an agency or in-house in a similar communications/PR role,
ideally within private equity or financial services
• Experience supporting transaction-driven communications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to distill complex subject
matter into clear and compelling content
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects/tight
deadlines involving coordination with multiple internal and external parties
• Team player mindset and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail
• Intellectually curious; creative and strategic thinker
• Self-motivated with the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment
