The Manager, Payroll and Plan Administration, will be responsible for all aspects of payroll and retirement plan
operations for our US and International locations. In this role, you will be empowered to innovate and identify
opportunities to leverage PSG’s technology and optimize existing processes and practices.
Responsibilities
The Manager, Payroll and Plan Administration, will be responsible for achieving the following goals:
• Act as plan sponsor of PSG’s retirement plans and be responsible for maintaining the plans and our
relationship with our advisors
• Ensure accurate and timely processing and closing of payroll, payroll funding, and tax filings
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend updates to payroll processing
software, systems, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls, federal and state regulations and guidelines,
and facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
• Protect confidential information and maintain employee confidence
• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders
• Answer questions and requests related to payroll and plan information
• Work closely with Human Resources and management to coordinate and implement all changes
• Onboard and capture key data points of new candidates and employees into Workday prior to
commencement of employment in a timely and efficient manner
• Participate in all HRIS application upgrades and testing
• Communicate process, including technology procedures, to end users in other offices and serves as
an ongoing resource
Ideal Experience and Competencies
The successful candidate will have an exceptional track record and reputation. Given the significant
responsibilities of this position, the top candidate will be a mature, experienced individual. In addition, the
successful candidate should have:
• 5+ years of payroll and retirement plan administration (experience with UK payroll ideal)
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional certification
• Must possess a strong desire and aptitude to work with technology
• Prior experience working with Workday, Paychex and ADP a plus
• Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills
• Mastery of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
• Experienced in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen
• Proactive mindset. Able to see the big picture, question existing ways of doing things, always looking
to be more efficient, or look for ways to improve
