The Analyst, HRIS & Benefits will report into our Vice President, HCM Operations & Analytics and will be the point
person for a combination of benefits and HRIS responsibilities. PSG is an energetic, collaborative and growing
firm, and this role will provide an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to learn many different aspects of
the human resources function.
Responsibilities
• Perform benefits administration including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for
payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, and compliance testing
• Provide dedicated support for Workday HCM, including creating documentation, maintaining system
transactions, answering complex questions, training users and first level support/troubleshooting
• Maintain relationships with benefit consultants, vendors, providers; ensure vendors meet our high
customer service standards.
• Assist with various outputs from Workday including Benefit EDI file feeds and analytical reports
(turnover, benefit change reports, payroll audits, etc.)
• Support open enrollment and annual benefits renewal, including the administration of open enrollment
in Workday
• Act as the first point of contact for escalated employee benefits questions; handle inquiries and
complaints ensuring quick and fair resolutions
• Participate in performance management system configuration including annual reviews, mid-year
reviews, and self-evaluations; ensure appropriate security and access is configured
• Act as the initial point of contact for unemployment claims and employment verifications and escalate
as appropriate
• Support the maintenance of ERISA, FLSA, and other domestic HR law provisions. Prepare reports and
applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies. Keep abreast of changes to
state and federal laws pertaining to HR and report necessary or suggested changes to the HR team
Ideal Experience and Competencies
• Minimum of two years of experience in a relevant HR role; Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry
experience preferred
• Strong desire for and aptitude to work with technology; experience with Workday strongly preferred
• Proficient in M.S. Office Suite
• Experience working with and manipulating data sets (in Excel, SQL, an HRIS platform, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and the ability to interact
across the organization
• Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and taking ownership of work
• Team player with a strong willingness to be collaborative as well as ability to work independently
• Good sense of urgency and time management skills; able to prioritize in a fast moving, high-
pressured, growing, constantly changing and ambiguous environment
• Self-driven and organized with a proactive mind set; able to see the big picture, question existing
ways of doing things, and find ways to improve
• Able to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and tact
