Validity is seeking a Data Product Operations Analyst reporting to our VP, Information Technology in either our Broomfield, Colorado or Boston office, to support the data-driven solutions at Validity.
The Data Product Operations Analyst provides friendly, efficient, effective service operations, solving problems and designing and running operations for Validity helping them drive revenue and ensuring client satisfaction.
The Data Product Operations Analyst will be responsible for operational support of various Products and Services at Validity including Email Optimization, Data, and Certification services. You will organize, develop, and operationalize existing workflows, manage and improve existing processes, manage and track vendor accounts and payments, support partners and customers on service delivery and configurations. You will partner with cross-functional team members in Product, Engineering, Service, Support, and Finance, among others.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage an inventory of back-end SaaS email accounts and relationships for our Email Optimization products
- Coordinate and provide oversight of inbound data feed inventory, ensure monitoring, and manage alerting and issue resolution process
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support to our customers for our data feed products including managing data support ticket queue and providing setup and tuning of outbound data feeds
- Provide operational support for monthly and periodic partner payments working with partners and internal Validity Finance department
- Review processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
- Identify processes and activities to drive cost efficiency, enhance operational efficiencies, and drive value creation for the enterprise
- Prioritize and balance multiple projects on any given day
- Work closely with Product, Support and Data Services as needed to provide ongoing management and operational support
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
- 2-5 years of experience in technical, data-drive, operations, support, and/or project management environment
- MS Excel experience is required
- A passion for driving value through organization, optimization of systems and processes
- A track record of success in a team environment with demonstrated service, analytic, and troubleshooting skills
- Organized, operationally minded, and critical thinker who can help shape current processes to be better
- Confident self-starter who naturally takes ownership of finding and developing solutions to supporting internal teams and projects
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Continuous improvement and process optimization mindset
- Adaptability and flexibility to change gears and address a variety of issues quickly
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
- Email, DNS, SMTP troubleshooting, and understanding is beneficial
- Basic SQL with the ability to pull data as required utilizing both given queries and writing new ones
- Jira, Anaconda Navigator and Tableau experience is a plus
- BA/BS degree from a leading academic institution
Salary range $65,000 - $70,000 plus benefits, bonus opportunities and stock options. Final salary may vary depending on skills, location, and/or experience.
