Trackonomics by Impact.com provides leaders in the affiliate marketing industry with a suite of tools that streamline workflow and increase revenue. Trackonomics offers team members a fast-paced and flexible environment to work and grow in.
As a Full Stack Developer working on the SaaS platform, you will drive and take ownership of various technologies to build features, enabling large-scale processing of data. This role assumes a certain independent capability to investigate and learn new technologies for the platform.The engineer is responsible for delivering quality code and software solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Review business needs, design, implement, test and perform code review for various features for the Trackonomics Platform.
- Provide transparency through daily Scrums, Kanban (or similar).
- Identify, raise and address system vulnerabilities and technology blockers for the squad.
- Optimize code and streamline processes to improve performance and platform stability and reduce overall system load.
- Review error messages and fix bugs in a timely manner.
- Work in a distributed and agile environment
- Respond to alerts, review error messages, and fix bugs in a timely manner.
- Schedule, plan and implement major software upgrades
- Deliver software solutions on the Trackonomics platform
- Participate in code reviews, providing actionable feedback, and focus on continuous learning to increase their skillset
- Document solutions to ensure future supportability
- Code - Design and implementation of new features.
- Code - Creation of Automated tests / Unit & Integration leveraging Mocks, Fakes, Stubs. Testable
- Code - Exposure to continuous integration, continuous delivery
Core Competencies and Required Experience
- Completed B.Sc. In Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years professional experience in a software engineering role
- Experience working in Start-up or Internet business is valuable.
- Github Account w/ showcased work / samples / contributions is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Application Servers, WebServices,
- Data Management Systems are key competencies for the role.
- Experience setting up and working with metrics reporting, monitoring, alerting and profiling software.
- Familiarity with Web Services (REST or SOAP)
- Experience with SQL and database development, familiarity with Data Modeling concepts
- Experience with modern Agile methodology
- Nice to have: Free Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
