Job Description

Position Overview
 
This role will be responsible for all aspects of endpoint management, including imaging, software deployment,
patch management, malware prevention, backup, and encryption. They will also be responsible for supporting the
configuration management platform and other supporting services.
 
Responsibilities
 
• Build and maintain the infrastructure and processes responsible for end-to-end management of
Windows endpoints, including patching, software deployment, inventory, remote assistance, backup,
performance, etc.
• Build and maintain standard operating system images and software installation packages
• Define and maintain standard hardware configurations
• Continually review environment to maintain optimal stability, performance, and security of endpoints
• Assist in supporting collaboration platforms such as Office 365, Slack, and Zoom
• Provide limited iOS and macOS support
• Provide critical engineering support as well as 3rd-level support.
 
Ideal Experience and Competencies
 
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of the Windows platform, including the registry, WMI, Sysprep, Group Policy,
Bitlocker, LAPS, Windows Debugger (basic BSOD analysis)
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, KACE, Microsoft
Deployment Toolkit
• Excellent scripting skills with knowledge of programming languages, such as PowerShell, Python and
C#
• Experience managing and supporting an endpoint backup solution (e.g. CrashPlan, Druva, Backblaze)
as well as endpoint detection and response solutions (e.g. Symantec, CrowdStrike or Defender)
• Prior experience packaging applications and application updates
• Experience with a monitoring platform (e.g. Nexthink, ThousandEyes, etc.)
• Strong understanding of security threats
• Must work well in a highly collaborative team, have excellent problem-solving and communication
skills, and be highly self-motivated
• Other preferred skills/competencies – these are not required, but would be considered a plus for your
candidacy:
       o Experience managing Okta or other SSO platform and supporting SAML and OIDC
         integrations
       o Experience with Windows Hello, FIDO2, virtual or physical smartcards, or other authentication
         technologies
       o Experience with ITIL
       o Relevant industry certifications and degrees
