Position Overview
This individual will join the PE Finance team and report to the Vice President, Controller of Finance. The ideal
candidate is detail oriented, has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and is flexible to take on whatever task is
needed. While this individual may choose to work from the Boston office, PSG is open to fully remote candidates
for this position.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this individual will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Prepare all reporting for Private Equity Funds including recording journal entries, preparing quarterly
financials, annual audited financials, preparing investor notices and other partner reporting
• Prepare and track Fund capital calls and distributions
• Book capital activity of the fund including preparation of journal entries and supporting documentation
• Manage cash activity including wire transfers, bank reconciliations and weekly cash activity reporting
• Calculation of management fees
• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed within the finance team
• Understand and complete ad-hoc requests from partners
• Liaise with multiple stake holders in the organization and ensure that tight deadlines are met
• Provide support to auditors during annual preparation on financial statements
• Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improve the process efficiency and team
productivity

The successful candidate will have an exceptional track record and reputation. Given the significant responsibilities
of this position, the top candidate will be a mature, experienced individual. In addition, the successful candidate
should have:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required, preferably within a public accounting, financial services, legal or consulting environment; experience within private equity strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Workday and Investran a plus, but not required
• Meticulous attention to detail and high level of conscientiousness to work product
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
