Job Description

PURPOSE
 

The Revenue Support Specialist will compute, classify and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures and calculations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Process a variety of customer payments received, including checks, credit cards, ACH, Wires and EFTs.

•Understand and balance daily processing.

•Work closely with internal teams as well as Franchise locations in the resolution of day-to-day items and payment issues.

•Communicate payment issues with internal teams.

•Respond to incoming calls and e-mails in a timely manner.

•Research misapplied/unpaid payments.

•Research and resolve customer A/R issues.

•Explain charges and credits to customers, sales and management.

•Handle payment processing requests sent though Company’s ticketing system.

•Prepare and post invoices and credit and debit memos.

•Calculate and post receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verify details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances.

•Prepare, record, verify, analyze and report accounts receivable transactions.

•Code documents according to Company procedures.

•Comply with federal, state, and Company policies, procedures, and regulations.

•Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts receivable, and profits and losses.
